Obituary of George J. Peters

Peters, George J. Penfield: Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his son, Spiro. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Mary "Shan"; sons, Joseph (Jeanne) & Christopher Peters; grandchildren, Ciara & Luke; sister-in-law, Aline Vangellow; brother-in-law, Dr. Daniel Pettee; many nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. He was a 39 year Kodak Retiree, a Rochester Hall of Fame Bowler, and avid Browns football fan. George served his country during the Korean War. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff, CNA's, nurses and others at Hill Haven (Fair Haven Park) for their love and kindness to George. Most especially Jackie and Mut. His family will receive friends Sunday 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Trisagion 3pm. Interment Private.
