Thank you Aunt Carmie for your sense of humor and compassion and kind words. I have a lot of fond memories of time spent together when I was a little girl especially when you would bake apple turnovers and chocolate cake with mint frosting! I admired your hard work in your garden and the way you loved nature. I will treasure all the shopping trips we took around town and driving down to the Irondequoit Bay while having lunch at Bill Gray's. I loved seeing the smile on your face because you enjoyed Abbott's custard and we would talk about your romance and marriage to Uncle Mickey and sometimes we would laugh so hard we would cry! I admired your passion for life and you introduced me to green living before it became popular. I was saddened when you became ill and I know exactly what transpired during the last few years of your life especially when your memory became cloudy, I have perfect love for you in my heart and I thank God for you. God's Word tells us that salvation is in Jesus, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth on him should not perish but have eternal life and that this "life is in his Son" and not in any other person or religion. My prayer is that I will see you again, rest in peace.
