Obituary of John W. Steidle

Steidle, John W. "Jack" Irondequoit: Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the age of 84. Pre-deceased by his wife, Jean; son in law, Terry Gore; brother, Nelson. He is survived by his daughters, Susie Gore, Debbie (David) Towle, Sherrie Rogers; grandchildren, Jennifer (David) DiCesare, Elizabeth (Timothy) Collalto, Lauren & Mike Towle, Chelsea, Stephanie & Christopher Rogers; great grandson, Owen; loving companion, Carol VanGraafeiland; brother, Bruce(Paula) Reamer; sisters-in-law, Barb (Don) Sproule & Sue(Fritz) Gaylord. Jack was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War. He will be remembered as a friendly man who said "hello" to everyone, especially at Wegmans (Hudson & Titus) where he was known as the "Mayor of Wegmans". He loved his boxer dogs, & cooking for his family. Jack had an artistic side to him and always enjoyed a nice Sunday drive. Jack's memorial service will be held THURSDAY 11:00am at the funeral home.
