Jeanne was my college roommate. She taught me to laugh when things were tough. Jeanne was Impressively Smart, clever, witty, funny and talented. She allowed me to traipse after her to Mason Hall @ SUNY Fredonia and I quickly became a fan of concerts, free music and the happy craziness of Zippies/music majors, good people.
Jeanne cared about others and was sensitive to their feelings. After my Dad died, she secretly arranged to have my best friend sneak in to the campus lounge for a surprise reunion, lifting my spirits enormously. She never forgot a birthdayand sent the funniest cards!
She was extremely funny and there was always at least one laugh in every conversation. She was the Editor and Writer of "The Flying F", a parody of life @ Fredonia. The issues were sporadic and full of news with a twist that could make one laugh til you cried.
Jeanne, I am Very Lucky to have known you and will miss you always. I am sure you are playing something fun and entertaining everyone in Heaven.

On behalf of the Clarinet Collection, I want to express our condolences to Jeanne's family. She was a member of our clarinet choir for over 20 years and brought so much talent and good cheer. The photo that you used for this tribute, of Jeanne with her clarinet, is perfect. This is how I will always remember her. May she rest in peace. My deepest sympathies, Gail Seigel, Music Director of The Clarinet Collection.
