Obituary of Helen Rendziak

Rendziak, Helen Irondequoit: October 8, 1926 to March 7, 2017. After declining health, the long wonderful journey on earth ended and life in heaven begins where she joins husband Wasyl (1974), parents and 11 older brothers and sisters. Survived by daughters Maria, Christine, Irene and grand-cat Sophie; friends who are like family: Joanne Mannix; Mahoney to Nick (Terressa) and Kevin Mannix; Jan, Tom and Mike Hehmeyer; Lesia Telega, Rick (Amy) Vos and Brian Clickner. She also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews, especially Marie (Ray) Lyons and god-daughter Kathy (Manny) Porretta. We would like to thank Dr. Gina Cuyler and Dr. David Fries for the excellent care and guidance – she couldn't have made it to 90 without them. We would also like to thank Tasha Johnson-Moon for the loving assistance over the last 2 yrs., and The Leo Center for Caring and VNS Hospice for making mom's last journey painless and peaceful. In lieu of flowers we encourage donations to The Leo Center for Caring and VNS Hospice to allow them to carry on their wonderful mission. Her family will receive friends Sunday 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Panachyda 3:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:00am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
