To the family of my darling Sally Sullivan. Sally and my mother (Madeline) were on the same floor at Kirkhaven. Whenever I would visit on Tuesdays and then my sister and I on Fridays I always stopped to see Sally and we would have some wonderful conversations. We would joke with each other as Italians do, she talked about her mother, her father, that "guy" she married, the fact that she had all sisters, bragged about her sons, daughter in laws and grandchildren. She lived in Irondequoit and so did I. We both married men that were not Italian and I told her last name should really be Sullivino and we would laugh and laugh.
The 3rd floor will never be the same without her. Angela who was Sally's caregiver during the day took such good care of her. There truly is an empty place in the dining room now.
God bless you Sally. I know for sure you are with the Angels and they are happy to take you in their arms and welcome you. Peace to all.
