Dear Mary Kay, Laurie and Krissy,we are so sorry and sad to hear this news. Dick was a wonderful neighbor, friend, husband, father and grandfather. I am grateful for the many happy memories we shared; a cold beverage on the front lawn (oh no here comes Elsie!) on late summer afternoons, kids birthday parties late into the night with some interesting bonfires occurring, boating excursions, July 4th celebrations and with the two best babysitters I could have asked for watching our three girls. With love and sympathy to you all.

Dick was a great guy. He was one of my first customers when I opened my office four years ago and I am so glad that I got a chance to know him over the years. We had many enjoyable conversations and laughs. I don't need to tell you that Dick was a funny, funny man. He will be missed.

Krissy, I cannot begin to share how sad I was when I heard that your Dad had passed away. He is one of the handful of people who has had a profound impact on my life. His patience, his humor and his deep love and devotion for his family are something that I admired and strive to emulate. We spent countless hours together in his truck talking about life ...but what I remember most about my time with Dick is laughing. He is someone who I will never forget.
