Obituary of Timothy James Fries

Rochester: Fries, Timothy James. Saturday, July 8th, age 70. Departed peacefully on the 45th anniversary of his marriage to his beloved wife, Nancy. Pre-deceased by his parents, Roy E. Fries and Mary Jane (Seville) Fries. Survived by his wife, Nancy (Baker) Fries; son, Charles (Kristie) Fries; daughters, Trisha (Fritz) Zeller, Bridgette (Jason) Cudzilo; grandchildren: Ellanore, Rigby, Vera Fries, Heidi, Wesley, Theodore Zeller, Adeline, Genevieve Cudzilo; sister, Carol (Kathe Kramer) Fries; sisters in law, Linda (Craig) Schieven; Diane (Ron) Plante, loving nieces and nephews. Our family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to The Wilmot Cancer Center for dancing with Tim through his courageous battle.

Tim was born in Rochester, NY. A member of Incarnate Word Lutheran Church and Benjamin Franklin High School's class of 1964. He was a Marine Corps sergeant. He attended RIT and graduated from Purdue with a degree in electrical engineering. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, August 12th at 2pm at Incarnate Word Lutheran Church, 597 East Ave, 14607. Reception to follow at the church.
