Fran and I were colleagues in the English department at Charlotte Middle School and in the last year or so our paths crossed again a number of times in Wegmans. He was always friendly and gracious both at work and in Wegmans. He seemed happy in retirement. The photos captured perfectly his winning smile and the essence that was Fran. My condolences to the family.

I remember Mr. Valenti monitoring the hallways between classes and in the lunchroom during my years at Bishop Kearney. He always seemed like a nice man and someone whom you would want to have as a teacher. I missed out on that opportunity. Rest in Peace, Mr. Valenti, Fac Omnia Bene - you did all things well. All the years growing up with Fran and the Valenti where very memorable to me . Fran would always give his advice to you. and his laughter and was always part of the conversation .
