In loving memory of a wonderful woman. The memories of our trips and times spent together will always shine bright for me. She was, after all, my second Mother!
With deep love and sympathy.

Teta Valentina was a loving and caring and wonderful aunt. I will always cherish my memories of her-especially those of her puttering in her garden and knitting. May she now finally rest in peace in the arms of our Lord. Till we meet again Teta!

I love my sister, but I couldn't go to the funeral because I myself am sick. I miss you because I don't have anymore relatives from my family. And I will always think about you!
-Kotryna your sister.

I remember when I was eleven or so, we drove up to New York to visit everyone. It had been a long time since I had seen Teta. We pulled up to her house, and when she answered the door, I exclaimed, "You look just like Mamele!" As a little kid, I was always in awe of the fact that, just like me and Giedre, Mamele and Teta were sisters. ;)
I remember thinking that Teta's name was so pretty. I didn't want to call her Baba. For me, she was always Teta Valentina.
I'll miss you, Teta.

The video is beautiful and reminds me of the strong, fun loving person Valentina was. Nijola and Dana, thank you for sharing those memorable times together in St. Charles with your Mother. I'll never forget her and just thinking of her brings a smile to my face. May she rest in peace and God bless her and all of you.

"A gentle wind blew cross the land reaching out to take a hand for on the winds the angels came calling out a mother's name.
Left behind, the children's tears loving memories of the years of joy and love, a life well spent and now to God a mother's sent.
On angel's wings, a heavenly flight the journey home, towards the light to those who weep a life is gone but in God's love, 'tis but the dawn." -Tim Chambers
Although we only met Valentina on one occasion, her beauty and persona left a lasting impression on both of us. We will never forget this moment because it was so precious to us.
With much love,
Mary and Ky
