Vernon was such a delight. He had the best stories. I have fond memories of 'happy juice' at his last two birthday parties. Thank you Vernon for serving our great country and rest in peace.

From the minute we met Vernon we felt loved simply by the way his smile lit up the room. Watching him "signal" our names after 70+ years was amazing to say the least as HE watched US smile with that twinkle in his eye. Patty, your dedication to his comfort, commitment to his well being and love for him reflects your strength, kindness and love for Vernon in was you may not even know. You were meant to cross paths in life and we are greatful for knowing you both. Thank you for sharing this wonderful man. He is loved and will never be forgotten.

The first moment I greeted Veron..was the same moment I loved this man. When you look into his eye's, you knew he . was a very caring person. When I was told of his military history and all he did during Normandy as a Signal Man..directing fire..moving ships..and ...and saving lives of 100's of our GI's...maybe even my father..God Bless you my friend...and thank you for always calling me "Gregory" the only other person who has called me that..was my Grandmother..God Bless..Love you..Amen..
