Bojko, Dunia
Irondequoit: Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 92. Pre-deceased by her husband, Dmytro; son, Roland. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Michelle) Bojko; daughter, Suzanne (Joe) Marino; grandchildren, Lisa (Stuart) Lyle, Tracy (Luis Santos) Bojko, Laura (Bill Urchioli) Bojko, Joseph Marino, Rachel (Eric Kanouse) Marino; great grandson, Lucas, and many family members in Ukraine.
Dunia was born in Ukraine in 1925. She immigrated to the US in 1950. She worked for Gerber Baby Food for 25 years, retiring in 1981. She will be remembered as a giving person who always put others first.
Her family will receive friends Friday 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.). Panachyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 10:00am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
