Gloria was my Friend and Student of Doll Making for over 36 years. Nothing can replace the memories of us being together almost every week during class time, seminars or traveling together. She was a constant, true and loyal friend. The kindness in her heart and soul was seen by her willingness to want to teach others her brilliant gift of art, beadwork, and wonderful sewing skills. As we spent our last week together in New Orleans at a Doll Convention, She received a very prestigious Award, the Triple Crown Title. She was so thrilled, and her constant companions and friends and I were by her side. It was amazing. She knew how proud her Family would be to know this. Thank you , The Gearhart Family, for sharing this unbelievable, awesome women in my life. I learned so much from her, and my heart is so sad that she left your lives. She will forever be in my heart. My complete heartfelt Sympathy.

Gloria Gearhart was a ray of sunshine for the students she serviced at the Native American Resource Center. I got to know her when our children attended classes there. As a team, she and Barbara Smoke introduced countless numbers of Native children to their culture. Her artistic gifts were evident in the instructional manuals that she created and the craft projects she guided small hands to complete. I will cherish the laughs we had together, the twinkle in her eyes and her beautiful smile. Rest in peace my friend.

My dear sister-in-law will be fondly remembered as the elder sister that welcomed me when I was dating Jeannie. We had many afternoons where she told me tales about Jeannie or when we played cards (which Jeannie took issue with on some occasions). But as the loving older sister, she always made us both smile and laugh often.
She was a love and a woman of many interests and will not be forgotten.
I am certain she is making music with the angels in heaven and adding to the revelry.
Dear Gloria, you were loved and will be missed.
Your brother-in-law Paul
