Irondequoit: After a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Predeceased by his parents, Howard & Margaret Willer. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Betty Ann Willer; nephew, Mark (Laurie) Maddalina; niece, Ann Marie (Mark) Wilcox; a niece, nephews and great nieces and nephews. James is a past Battalion Chief of the West Brighton Fire Dept. He also serves on the board of the Irondequoit Fish & Game Club and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

His family will receive friends SUNDAY 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.), where his funeral service will be held MONDAY 10:00 AM. Interment private. Memorials may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Institute, 300 E. River Rd., Rochester, NY 14627.
