We were so sorry to hear about Betty's passing. She was such a warm and caring person who, along with Jack, has been a friend to our family for many years. It was wonderful to see her at my mom's birthday party recently. Our deepest sympathies go out to Jack and their families. xoxo Chrystal, John and Matt Gulbin

I want to express my deep sympathy for the loss of Betty. I remember Betty as a good friend, and a real good Title Clerk too. I make her cucchiadate (fig cookies) recipe most every year. What a sweet woman to have as a good friend! I stopped to see her a couple times at Aman's after she retired. We had some good conversations and experiences together... I am glad to have known Betty and will always keep her in my heart. Love, Peace to you Betty, and see you again,
Genny Leone

Aunt Betty you are missed. Thank you for being an amazing sister to my mom and an incredible aunt. You never missed sending a card on our birthdays or a holiday card/note. You always put others first and gave whatever you had to help someone in need. I love you!

I knew Betty through the Irondequoit Art Club for many years. She worked in oils and sometimes in watercolor. She was the Club librarian and just this past year, cleaned and organized our library at Pinegrove again, for which we are grateful. I enjoyed her work and purchased a painting that she rendered of one of her favorite Florida beaches. Whenever I look at her painting, I feel serene.
Betty participated in the Irondequoit Art Trail, an annual summer event organized by Lisa Zaccour. Betty partnered with her dear friend, Jeanette Ferretti-Wojtas. The trail is a labor of love on the part of the artists who open their homes to show their work to the public. I purchased one of her small door knob paintings that I've hung on a newly painted door - I thought it was so clever and creative.
In her honor, I just posted pictures of the painting and the door knob decor on our Club's Facebook page.
I also enjoyed seeing Betty when I shopped at Aman's. She was such a friendly cashier.
This past spring, she shared with me her health trials and tribulations and more recently, her great faith in St. Kateri.
I extend my sympathy to the family. I know you will miss her terribly. Imagine her in heaven, meeting St. Kateri, and painting even more beautiful natural scenes.
Sincerely,
Sally Steinwachs, President, Irondequoit Art Club

We will greatly miss seeing Betty's warm and smiling face when we walk into Aman's. She was so kind and thoughtful. One example of this is from our wedding. Betty saw a picture from our wedding that she loved and surprised us with an oil based painting of that photograph! Better yet, she got sand from the beach we were married on in Florida from our family and painted it into the picture. We are so grateful to have our memories of Betty and this painting to keep always. John, you & your family are in our prayers.
Rest in peace, Betty.

I only met you briefly at another sad time in our lives, but felt close to you then. I wish we had been able to spend more time together. Tony always kept us up to date on what was going on, and that was good. He is such a special young man. We all love him dearly, and he loved you the same way. May the good Lord bless you and may you rest in Peace. Lovingly Pat Dinardi

My deepest condolences to Jack, and to all of Betty's loving family. I will miss my dear friend very much. I am ever grateful to have met her over 20 yrs ago, and to have had the pleasure of working with her at Aman's market. I am also grateful to have spent the day with her two months ago, as we visited the shrine of St. Kateri. I will always remember how happy she was that day.
Miss you already Boop.
