I have such fond memories of Jean from many years ago when I worked at Hawkeye for a very short time. She was always very kind and motherly to me. I had never made a pie before, and wanted to make a great pumpkin pie for my first Thanksgiving as a newly wed in 1969. Jean shared her wonderful pie crust and pumpkin pie recipe with me. It was a hit! I still use the recipe to this day. I remember our lunch hour walks over Driving Park Bridge and all the wisdom she shared with me. Thank you Jean and may you rest in peace. My heart-felt sympathy goes out of all of Jean's family. May the beautiful memories you have of her help to comfort you during this difficult time.
I'm sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We had become good friends at the Kodak gym and lost contact after my job loss and Jean's relocating. She was a fine lady with whom I was able to share much laughter, may she rest in peace with Joe. I will always remember her.
