Obituary of Arlene F. Ritter

Ritter, Arlene F. (Byrnes) Irondequoit: Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her son, John David Ritter. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald; daughters, Amy Bliss-Ritter & Laurie Ritter; grandson, Anthonie Lamagra; granddaughter, Taylor DeRoller; brother, Alan Byrnes; brother-in-law, John (Susan) Ritter; nephew, Patrick Byrnes; niece, Jennifer Byrnes. Arlene loved to garden and was an excellent swimmer. She taught second grade at the Hilton Central School District, volunteered at Cameron Community Ministries and Seneca Methodist Church day care. Arlene also loved animals, and had many pets in her lifetime. Please consider a donation made in her name to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450. A special thank you to the caring staff at the Baird Nursing Home, for treating Arlene as part of their family. Her family will receive friends Sunday 1-3pm at the Harris Family Center (560 Kings Hwy S, located behind the funeral home.) Interment Private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
