Sincere condolences to you, Bills Family, on his passing! Bill was a SPECIAL individual and as one of his fellow Postmasters we shared many good times together. As "the boss" of the Rochester Sectional Center he was not only professional in all his work but always kept a warm demeanor with his workers. Before his, and my, retirement our Postal Group often enjoyed lunch at DePacific Rest. This continued into our retirement years until our age caught up with us! In recent years we kept in touch only at Christmas while he was living at his new home at St. Anns!
With affection-
Fred Gifford, Retired Postmaster of Clifton Springs, NY

I had the honor and privilege of knowing Bill and Ruth during my tenure at Chapel Oaks. Every moment spent with Bill was a joy and a learning experience. Bill's Irish wit and wisdom accompanied by his wry smile will never be forgotten. Bill always expressed interest on the latest updates of our sons, my wife Carol and pet dog. We enjoyed discussing politics and of course all of our friends at Chapel Oaks. I will truly miss you Bill but I am glad that you are Home with the Lord and your beautiful wife Ruth. God Bless!
