I was surprised to see Stephanie's name under a photo where the Rundell Library lit their building in honor of Stephanie. May I offer my condolences to Fred and Stephanie's family. Stephanie was such a bubbly, enthusiastic lady. A number of years ago, Stephanie told me she wanted to be a librarian and asked me questions about my career as a librarian, both in schools and the local public library here in Albion, NY. She got her MSLS and went to work in Fairport. I saw her mentioned in a New York State Library publication that Stephanie was honored for her work as a YA Librarian in New York State as an Up and Coming Librarian. Her idea to implement a Team Book Festival in Rochester was quite an undertaking. I am proud that in her shortened life, Stephanie reached her goal to be a librarian and excelled in her profession. Our profession will miss her work as a librarian to Young Adults whom I'm sure will miss her.

I had the great pleasure of working with Stephanie when she asked our Drama Kids organization to create a summer curriculum for the youth in Fairport. What an amazing person!! Stephanie knew how to make everyone feel special. She had such a jubilant personality. All who met her wanted to get on board with what she was creating. Her organization of the Teen Book Festival was fantastic! And she turned me onto Audio books and Playaways! I will miss Stephanie's contributions to our greater Rochester community. I am glad to have known Stephanie, and I will miss her greatly.

Stephanie was always easy to pick out in a crowd because of her long, curly red hair. After I got to know her, I realized what a dedicated and dynamic person she was - not just that girl with the curly red hair. Most of all I will remember her for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She made time for everyone.

I am devastated to hear of the loss of such a dynamic and innovative and KIND person! I first met Stephanie when she visited Martha Brown middle school to book talk literature to 6th grade students. She talked of creating a festival that gathered teen authors with their readers...I am fortunate to have been one of the first volunteers for the now well-known Teen Book Festival. Stephanie ALWAYS put kids first! She was friendly and always supportive of teachers in the community.
