Layton, Nancy J.

Penfield: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 76. Predeceased by her parents, Jane and Milton Layton; nephew, Marc Layton; niece, Donna Layton; brother, Robert G. Layton and sister-in-law, Sherrill Layton. Nancy is survived by her nephew, Robert M. Layton (Andrea); nieces, Deborah Layton and Connie Rychlik and several great nephews, great nieces and many wonderful friends. Nancy was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company with 34 years there and worked part time at McQuaid Jesuit High School and the Seneca Park Zoo. She loved traveling and saw many parts of the world with a visit to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda being one of her favorites. Also she loved reading, movies and loved animals and enjoyed getting together with her friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Grande Vie Living Community for the care given to Nancy.

Her family will receive friends SATURDAY, April 21st from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.). A graveside service will be held MONDAY, April 23rd at 10:00 AM at Irondequoit Cemetery (3671 Culver Road). In lieu of flowers please make donations in Nancy's honor to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
