Irondequoit: Passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at age 97. Survived by his wife of 77 years, Irene M. Warner; daughters, Linda, Elaine Garcia of Bluffton, SC, Diane Bierwirth of Clifton, VA; 2 grandsons, Cpt. Brian (Kelly) Bierwirth, Scott (Alison) Bierwirth and 3 great-grandchildren, Brayden, McKinley and Brannock Bierwirth. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific. He worked for Eastman Kodak for 32 years, retiring as Superintendant of Shops Division. He and his wife loved traveling the world, square dancing and skiing. He also enjoyed woodworking and working on his farm. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers on the 6th floor of St. Ann's Nursing Home. A celebration of life ceremony will be held SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 2018 at 11 am at Seneca United Methodist Church (121 Scholfield Rd.).
