Curtis, Jennie P. Irondequoit: Friday, August 3, 2018, at the age of 97. Predeceased by husband Albert, parents Diego and Giovanina Parisi, sisters Rose (John) Chiavetta and Angelina (Joseph) Magro, and brother Samuel (Catherine) Parisi. Survived by sons Richard and Robert (Kathryn), granddaughter Lori Beth (Paul) Manarchuck, grandson Michael, great-granddaughter Mary Kathryn, and several nieces and nephews. Before marrying and starting a family, Jennie worked at Genesee Hospital in a staff position. After marriage, she was a loving homemaker and assisted Al in his independent insurance agency and his tax preparation business. Jennie will be remembered for her interest in, and countless kindnesses to, family and friends. She adored her grandchildren, Lori Beth and Michael, and loved to spend time with them. Jennie enjoyed watching sports, and had a particular fondness for attending Ladies Professional Golf Association tournaments and figure skating shows. She especially loved going to her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. Jennie enjoyed traveling, especially to Oxbow Lake, Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, as well as to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Las Vegas. Jennie's lasting legacy is her love and devotion to her family, most notably to her husband Al, and her loyalty to friends. Jennie's family will receive friends at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy South) on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 4-7 PM. Entombment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
