I'm so deeply sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I was in his first grade class, and was in classes with him all throughout high school. He was always so kind to me, even when I was being bullied by other kids, and it always meant the world to me. He was also always very polite and kind to my mother, and said hello to her every time he saw her at Colebrook. I remembered that he loved to fish, and when we went to Outdoor Ed in sixth grade, he tried to help me during the fishing lesson, but I got the hook tangled in my shirt. He said that it was okay and offered to help me untangle the line. He was always so kind, happy, and polite. He made everyone laugh. My heart goes out to his family in this time of loss.
