I am grateful to have had the opportunity to re-connect with you Sharon, my girlhood friend. Your move back "home" to Rochester after so many years was a step back in time for both of us. When we got together in more recent good times and talked, recapturing youthful fun days and riding in the car through our old neighborhood...the years melted away...and we picked up right where we left off. Frank and I enjoyed and will remember our times with you and Bill. I will not forget you and will miss you always.

Jan and I will ever treasure our thirty plus years of friendship with Sharon. There is so much to remember; bicycle rides, dinners, Santa’s army at Christmas, dogs, tours of wineries and the Bourbon trail. Sharon you were the great organizer, chef, decorator, hostess and co-worker that kept our friendship together over time and distance. We will always celebrate a continuum of memories from our road warrior days at PHS, raising our families and transitioning into retirement and grandparenting in the last few years. Though you have left us too soon we will continue to cherish the memories of our friendship with you and Bill.

God Bless you Sharon...we clicked immediately when we first met. You hired me as your gardener and we instantly became friends. You were like a big sister to me, always very concerned how I was doing....we could chat for hours while I worked at your house, a home that I felt very much ‘at home’ at...you, Bill and Lola were always so incredibly welcoming. 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. I was given an award for outstanding financial performance in the HIM Department. Sharon was working for me as the department manager and without her support and expertise in HIM operations the award would not have been possible. We became great friends and shared everything with each other. She was a person who you felt was giving you a big hug every time you spoke to her. I will miss her...

I have known Sharon since first grade. We lived in the same neighborhood growing up. Although we did lose touch for several years, I do remember all the happy, fun times. She will be missed by so many people.

Sharon and I often spoke of our love for dogs and especially our love for Goldens. I have vivid memories of our conversations and am just so heartbroken. I feel like I was with her and Bill in the Lola homecoming as we spoke daily about the "ohiogirl" website and when she was getting her baby. The world lost a kind,loving, and truly fun lady which will be missed by those who were blessed by her friendship! God hold you Sharon. Blessings
