Rakuta, Martha
Rochester. Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by her husband Stephen Mrs. Rakuta is survived by her daughters, Maria Rakuta her caregiver, Donna (Manfred) Sachs, Monica (Mac) Roper, grandchildren Manfred Sachs Jr., Regina (Donald) Steel, Dana (Michael) Santos, Robert & Branden Roper, great grandsons Danny & Jacob Steel, several nieces & nephews In Ukraine. Martha was a member of SUMA and a retiree of University of Rochester- Eastman School of Music.
Her family will receive friends THURSDAY 4-8 pm at the funeral home, (Panachyda Thursday 7pm). Her Divine Liturgy Friday 10:00 AM at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Life Time Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Rd. South. Rochester, NY 14623.
