Irondequoit. Entered into rest Monday, December 7, 2009 at the age of 88. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael. Mrs. Lalka is survived by daughter, Ulana(Myron) Babiuk, son, Bohdan(Ginny) Lalka, grandchildren, Diana Asha(Gregory) Stubbs and Larissa Lalka (David) Otten, great grandchildren, Alexandra K. Stubbs, Arianna T. Stubbs and W. Colin Stubbs. Mrs. Lalka was an active member of Ukrainian National Women's League of America and St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Her family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 pm at the funeral home (Panachyda 7:00pm). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 10:30am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization, Inc. (Local Chapter) or Plast Conference, Inc. Centennial in Ukraine.
