Maria lived across the street from us on Titus Avenue. We moved away 22 years ago, but I never forgot her. I used to visit and she would tell me stories from her younger years (over a cup of coffee and cookies, of course!) I will never forget her -- she was a gentle soul and I hope she is at peace now. I'm sorry that I saw her obituary too late to attend her service. What a wonderful woman!
