Obituary of Darlyn C Bilodeau
Please share a memory of Darlyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Darlyn Bilodeau, 83, of Webster, NY, formerly from W. Irondequiot passed away peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018. Energetic, compassionate and always willing to meet a need, ”Lynn” was known for her faith and love of family and friends. Her youngest years were lived on U.S.Marine bases, and when settled, she graduated from West Irondequiot High School and had joyfully attended class reunions. She went on to get a degree in business, work at Xerox and become a legal secretary. She married Charles Bilodeau (now deceased) and spent a good portion of her life happily as a homemaker and mother. She was a dedicated Girl Scout leader for many years, cheerful and fun. Lynn attended her children’s sporting events, cheering on not only her children but the teammates as well. She loved all outdoor activities. Gardening, hiking, skiing, playing baseball, going to yard sales and farm markets were some of her favorites. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. To her credit she was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, even in the face of physical hardship she remained strong in her resolve to serve Jehovah with her choices. Lynn enjoyed playing cards with “the girls”, and loved being with people. Photos of family, “Welcome Friends”,Watchtower, “Lady Bugs” and Lilacs is what you would find in her home. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by and the beloved mother of daughters; Ariane Bilodeau , Janet (Duke) Bozick, Lauren (Brian) Coe, and son Michael (Cheryl); cherished Grandmother of Lucas, Deaven and Taylor; proud great grandmother to Clint; dear sister and aunt to Jane Gears and her 4 children; close cousin to Robert (Sue) Conge and Carl Conge and many friends who were like family to her.
