Marie was my mom's (May Nealon Foos) best friend when they were growing up . They would get together even after they were married and had their own families - I would visit Marie along with my sister, Mary ann, when Marie was living in her St. Ann's apartment - my own children never had the opportunity to know my parents - when my daughter, Leigh, got married, Marie wrote this beautiful and touching letter to her describing who my mother was and how much she ( Leigh ) would have loved her- Marie also gave me pictures of the her and mom as young adults - Marie's sensitivity to me and my family will always be a part of me when I think of her - may God continue to bless all of you
