Obituary of Walter J. Maslanka

Maslanka, Walter J. Irondequoit: Sunday, November 25, 2018 at age 97. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine; brothers, Joseph and William. Walter is survived by his children, Lawrence (Kathleen) Maslanka, Daniel Maslanka, Elaine (Steven) Smith, Mary Lou (James) Arrow; grandchildren, Lauren Maslanka, Mary Kay Maslanka, Kelly Smith Bailey, Christopher (Jessica) Smith, Katherine Smith, Rieanne Arrow, Savannah Knowlton; great-grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Claudia Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was a pilot in the US Navy and served his country during WWII. He was employed at Eastman Kodak for over 40 years. He was a devoted husband, father and friend and an outstanding athlete. His family will receive friends SUNDAY 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.). Friends are invited to join the family MONDAY 09:30 AM at ST. KATERI AT ST.
