Ronald A. Speed, Rochester - Saturday December 8, 2018 at the age of 57. Pre-deceased by his father, Denny; step-father, Jack. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara; daughter, Samantha (Rob) Line; son, Philip (Kate) Speed; mother, Lillian Yeager; brother, Kevin (Rose) Speed; grandsons, Henry and Elliot Line; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Hospital and the U of R Vising Nurse Hospice Team for their constant support and care of Ron. Friends are invited to meet the family for visitation on THURSDAY, December 13 from 4-7pm at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy South, 14617). A memorial service will be held FRIDAY, December 14 at 10:30am at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center or Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong Memorial Hospital.
