Irondequoit: Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 93. Survived by her children, Ellen (John) Beck, William (Janice) Stear, Robert (Gary Maneeley) Stear, all of Rochester, and Martha (Mark) Worthington of Milton Keynes, England; granddaughters, Tess and Katie Worthington; step-granddaughters, Gloria (Austan) Brown, Sara and Hanna Jump; brother, Robert Crandall, nephew and nieces. Pre-deceased by her husbands, Spiro J. Peters and William A. Stear; infant daughter, Carolyn Stear. A longtime friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob, she was an enthusiastic birder, an avid bridge player and had an enduring interest in local history.

A gathering will be held on Sunday, January 20th from 2-4pm in the Newport room of Chapel Oaks (1550 Portland Avenue). Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee Land Trust, 46 Prince Street, Suite LL005, Rochester, New York, 14607.
