Laslo S. Jacobs

Irondequoit: After a long illness, Laslo passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the age of 76. He is survived by loving wife of 48 years, Agota; sons, Laslo (Katy), Attila Jacobs; grandson, Silas Scott; brothers, Lewis (Ruby), Tibor, Bela (Vali) Jacobs; sister, Gyorgyi (Kalman) Kockas; brother-in-law, Michael (Mary) Kuti; many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in Hungary.

Laslo was of Hungarian descent. He was born in 1942, in a little village called, Kocse. He was very proud of his heritage and nationality. Laslo worked for 25 years at Eastman Kodak in Metrology and the Telecom. Dept. He spent 10 years joined with Kodak and Digital Equipment Corp as an Electrical Eng. Later in life, Laslo worked for Sears Roebuck Corp, and Guardsmark as a Security Guard. He was a poet and artist who loved life and had lots of friends, especially in the Hungarian community.

His family will receive friends Thursday, February 28, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday, March 1, 9:30am at St. Kateri at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for his memorial mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Visiting Nurse Foundation, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
