Obituary of William O. O'Neill

O'Neill, William O. Irondequoit: Surrounded by his family at his home on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the age of 88. William is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, H. Patricia O'Neill; daughters, Ellen M. O'Neill, Patricia A. O'Neill, Elizabeth O.(Gregg) Highley of Durham, N.C., Kathleen B.(Samuel) Centanni; son, William M. O'Neill of Telford, PA; grandchildren, Caitlin, Samuel, Nicholas and Michael Centanni; sister, Betty Cropsey of Schenectady; sister-in law, Kathleen Crawley; many nieces and nephews. William was a World War II Army Vet and a graduate of M.I.T. and served for many years on its Education Councel. He worked at Eastman Kodak as a Chemical Engineer for 40 years and was an active parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Church. William also was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Rochester General Hospital. His family will receive friends SUNDAY 2-5pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 10:00 AM at ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
