Georgette was born and raised in Quebec City, Canada, where she lived until she met the love of her life, Walter. She married him and then moved to Philadelphia, PA. where their only child, Robert was born. From there she moved to Wappingers Falls, NY in 1963, when "her Walter" accepted a position at IBM. She and Walter lived in Wappingers until retirement when they moved to Rochester in 1993. It was in 1995 she took on her most cherished role- devoted grandmother to her two granddaughters. Nothing made her happier. Georgette and Walter traveled extensively during retirement, visiting Europe, Canada, and many places in the US. She will be remembered as a very loving woman, always smiling, who saw good in everyone. She touched everyone that she met. Georgette was an excellent cook who would make any dish, and her baked treats were something to behold. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Georgette's Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, March 25, 10:30 am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church (940 East Ridge Rd.). Interment Private Sampson Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
