Penfield: Passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the age of 84.  Predeceased by his parents, Sam and Rose Meli; great-grandson, Lorenzo Lombardo; sister, Noreen “Dolly” Pellitere. Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marguerite Meli; cherished daughters, Jo Lynn Rose, Linda Beikirch, Cynthia Blair; his adored grandchildren, Jayla (Matthew) Lombardo, Jocelyn Burton (fiancé, Sean Hantes), Stephen (Veronica) Beikirch, Matthew Beikirch, Rachel Blair, and Erica Blair; great-grandson, Luca Lombardo; brother, Robert (Lois) Meli; sister, Anne Marie (Richard Cavalcanti) Allocco; brothers-in-law, Charles Pellitere, Anthony (Sandra) Pettrone and loved by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Nick will be deeply missed by all who knew him especially his wife, children and grandchildren. Nick was a successful entrepreneur. He leaves a legacy of dedication to family, inspiring them to reach goals with hard work and perseverance. He was committed to providing a better future to all he held dear.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, April 9th, 3:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, April 10th, 9:15am at St. Rita's Church for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Love, Lorenzo Foundation thru Rochester Area Community Foundation, 500 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 or at www.racf.org/lorenzo.
