Melrose “Sunshine” Clarke

Rochester: Saturday, May 4, 2019. Predeceased by her sons, Morris, Patrick, Michael; sisters Mavis and Ruby; brothers, Renael and Lance; Melrose is survived by her daughter, Angela (Marino) Vanessa Clarke; son, Ronald A. Clarke; grandchildren; and those who considered her grandma; nieces and nephews. Melrose volunteered with the Bridges to Wellness Program through the Anthony Jordan Health Center; she once was winner of the Flower City Feeling Good Garden Contest. Melrose enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and was an avid reader.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, May 11, from 1to 4pm (570 Kings Hwy S). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, May 18th 2:00pm at The Chapel of the Good Shepherd at the Episcopal Church Home (505 Mount Hope Ave) Rochester NY for her memorial service. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your  choice.
