Gladys recited this poem of hers to me and asked me to write it down. May Gladys now be with the love of her life.
Joe
Around each corner I search for you
Hoping to see your face
Knowing all the while you are in a different place
Vacation trips far and near together we had known, but this one trip you must travel alone
So god reached down with gentle hand
To lead you to a golden stair, the golf game waiting for you up there
Awfully sad and awfully blue
The love poem I’m sending you
So till the day we meet again - I love you now and will love you then.
Love,
Gladys
