Obituary of Linda S. Nachtrieb

Linda Nachtrieb, formerly from Locke, NY, passed away peacefully May 11, 2019 after a brief illness. Linda loved her apartment in Webster and enjoyed planting flowers on the patio, walking the trails and reading. She retired from Moravia Central School where she spent 31 years engaging elementary students in hands-on learning through fun lessons and creative crafts. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Chub and Janet Nachtrieb, her sister, Janice Calandra and her brother-in-law, Tom Rottman. She is survived by her sisters, Janie (Jim) Hutchinson, Nancy Rottman and a brother, Jerry (Diane) Nachtrieb. Linda was the beloved aunt who followed all important events in the lives of her nieces, Amy (Ed) Maracek, Lisa (Brian) Julien, Stephanie (David Thurston) Hutchinson, Kelly Rottman, Sarah (Ryan Perry) Nachtrieb, Rachel (James) Hull and nephew, Christopher (Katie) Hutchinson. Linda will be missed by all relatives, friends and former students. As per Linda's wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private remembrance ceremony will be held at the convenience of her family.
