Skalny, Joseph S.
Irondequoit: Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the age of 94. Pre-deceased by his wife, Irene; brothers, John T., Edward and Bernard. Mr. Skalny is survived by his sister, Anna R. Skalny; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Joseph was a Captain of the U.S. Army during WWII, a Director of the Louis Skalny Foundation, Past Director of the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester, member of the Melvin Michalski VFW Post and Benefactor of numerous community organizations, especially St. John Fisher College. Joseph was an avid golfer and traveler.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 11:00 AM at ST. ANN'S HOME CHAPEL for his funeral mass. Entombment private. Memorials may be directed to Joseph S. & Irene C.
