Rochester. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Pre-deceased by her grandson Cpl. Reynold Armand and son-in-law Victor R. Velez. Mrs. Mercado is survived by her daughter Miriam Velez, 2 sons, Felipe (Phil) Mercado, Porfirio "Por" Mercado, Jr., also aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Shore Winds Nursing Home west 11, for their care and compassion shown to our mother during her stay.
Her family will receive friends MONDAY 5-9PM at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 10:00AM at CHURCH OF THE AMERICA'S at CORPUS CHRISTI for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Assoc. Rochester Chapter, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620
