David M. Malloy

Ontario: Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the age of 70, during the 7th inning stretch of the NY Yankees game, in which they were winning handily. (If you knew David, this would allow him to leave early, and beat the traffic.) Predeceased by his parents, Terry & Mary Jane; step brother, Dave Purtell. He is survived by his sister, Shelley (Vicki Leggitt) Malloy; step mother,    Berdeena "Polly" Malloy; step sisters, Carol (Jim) Penrod, Kim (Dan) Green, Robbie (Rick Masters) Tennant; "Team David", Greg & Lisa Tesch, cousin Tracy Malloy, Elizabeth Delaney, Vicki, Shelley and beloved dog Duke. Also cousins Kevin (Nancy) Malloy, Chris (John) Glagolev, Colleen (Mark) Crane and Robyn (Dan) Pepicelli. Special friends Bill Thompson(former business partner) and Tony Gullace and many other friends. 

David was an avid fan of the Yankees, Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Orange Basketball. He graduated from Bishop Kearney, where he played quarterback for the football team. He co-founded Ashly Audio Inc, in 1974 and will be remembered as a wonderful person to be around and work with. 

A special thank you to Dr. Robert Thomson, the staff at Wilmot Cancer Center, and everyone at Hildebrandt for their loving care.

His family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 11:00am - 1:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Funeral services will be held in private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626.
