Shuryn, Mary I.
Irondequoit: Friday January 15, 2009 at the age of 87. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years John; son, Robert, daughter, Anne; 3 grandchildren, Heather (Jerome) St. Croix, Danielle Shuryn and Stephen(Amanda) Shuryn; 6 great grandsons; sister, Alexandra Kravchenko in Western Ukraine; brother in law, Basil Shuryn; sisters in law, Olga Bielka, Anna Werner, and Maria Kovalevych in Lviv, Ukraine; many nieces & nephews in the US and Ukraine. Mary was a member of the Zaparaska Sitch society, and UNA.
Her family will receive friends TUESDAY 4-7PM at the funeral home. Panachyda 7pm. Mary's Divine Liturgy will be held WEDNESDAY 10:00AM at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Children of Chornobil, ACT#107123 RUFCU, 824 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621.
