Dear Dianne and Family,
It is with deep sadness that I learned of Bob's passing. We knew each other for most of our lives. Being 4 years older than me, he was one of the "Big Kids" I looked up to. When he started driving and we were still hitchhiking around he could always be counted on for a ride. He always made me feel special, as he did everyone. Bob's loss to the community will be staggering. I am so sorry.....,.Best regards,
John Pogoda

Bob Flaherty always had a smile on his face which complimented his infectious sense of humor. He always remembered my name and picked up on whatever conversation or interests we shared even years before. He and Diane raised and mentored an incredible family of loving and significant children. Godspeed sir.

From the Hickey Family to all of your family Mrs. Flaherty, our love is sent. May you be blessed by prayers from far and near. The joy you have both brought to every life you have touched and continue to influence is abundant. The BK Bingo memories came flooding back today, the steak roasts and the 3rd Wednesday of the month after party. The laughs and great times meant so much to my folks. May the joyous memories sustain you thru your grief, may you see his smile and love in the faces of your children and grands! Until we meet him again in paradise May God hold him in the hollow of His hand.
