I was saddened to learn of our loss of my longtime neighbor/friend your mother, Mae. She, Marge Teague and I had some pretty good times together laughing and sipping "Wild Irish Rose"! She was intrigued by my rock and mineral hobby and came over one evening with Annie and her two young girls. We passed around different examples and the girls went home with a collection of their own. Mae couldn't thank me enough, over and over again, mainly for spending time with her granddaughters and Annie, but also for introducing them to this fascinating hobby. I could see her from my living room window working in her yard, or zipping around the corner of Rock Beach onto Lake Shore past my house. My son Mark said the photo in the obit was exactly the smile he remembers as a child. She touched many, many lives. Here's to you Mae, a glass of "Wild Irish Rose"!
