Joseph Zambuto

Irondequoit- Passed away at the age of 75 on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 surrounded by his family after his battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother, Grace Zambuto; niece, Julie Margolycz; and brother-in-law, Richard Horncastle. Survived by his loving wife, Luba, of 53 years; daughters, Kristine (Jonathan) Roberts, Lisa (Lynn) Parrish and Lori Zambuto; grandchildren, Andrea, Solomon, Alexei, Zachary, Molly, Andre, Tyler, Megan and Ashley; great granddaughter Avery; brothers and sisters, Thomas (Loretta), Bridget Horncastle, Angelina Fosco, and Eddie; sister-in-law, Anna (Danny) Margolycz; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Joe was well known and liked by many people. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was retired from UA Local 13 Plumbers & Pipefitters. He loved the outdoors, fishing, going to the casino and his beloved dog, Shayla.

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends and family are welcome to attend Joe's Memorial Divine Liturgy Saturday, July 20, 2019, 10:00 AM at St. Josephat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 940 Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Seneca Park Zoo, the American Cancer Society or Lollypop Farm.
