We will miss you indeed, JoAnn Harvey. Your warm spirit, your easy laughter, your kindness and generosity. Thanks for the dinners, and lakeside parties, and joyous enlightening repartee. But thank you mostly for being the first Rochester retailer to believe in Ward Pedde’s couture & design talents. I will always love you for that. If there is a home in the heavens for good souls, I know you are there. Godspeed to you, and Harv, and all your family. You were and are much loved.

Oh, Allison - we are so sorry to hear about your mom! She was such a beautiful soul -- a bright, creative light. And so fun to be around. We always enjoyed spending time with you guys! Sending you, your dad, your brother and your whole family our deepest sympathy and a big hug! May you one day find some peace in losing her from this world and some comfort in finding her light and spirit lingering -- in moments both great and small. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joann's passing. My sincere condolences to Harv , children and grandchildren. Joann certainly was a very kind and accomplished woman. Even though we lost touch after she moved out of the co-op in Greece I thought of her often. I spent many happy hours sitting and chatting at the antique shop. I bought a lot of things there and she bought and or traded with me also. I had a very lovely time at her home for dinner one summer evening. She was a kind, welcoming and warm hostess. The world will miss her. I can still hear her laugh.

Dear Lee, Alison and Lee,
My heart goes out to all you as I learn of Jo Ann's passing. She was such a presence whether entertaining, serving people at Talulah Petunia's, going to antique shows or being the absolute best friend anyone could have. She was a strong, vivacious woman who loved life and people. She was an active grandmother, providing loving care for each of her grandchildren through their early years. She never hesitated to help friends and family in any way possible. She had a heart that gave and gave to those she loved.
I have shared so many good times with her - with amazing laughs and serious times as well. She was an inspiration to me as she thought everything was possible! Her spirit, optimism, compassion and creativity will always be missed.
Love and condolences to the family,
Virginia and Gary Goodwin

I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the family for their loss. I used to visit Talulah's often back in the day, and enjoyed visiting with JoAnn so much. Her love of antiques was something we chatted about often She was always so joyful, and welcoming. I have a few cherished items purchased at Talulah's, and think of JoAnn when I enjoy them. JoAnn was a lovely person---she even invited me to join her and the family on Thanksgiving many years ago. She had a special inner light that always shined outward. May God comfort your family at this time.
