Obituary of Geraldine T. Hummel

Hummel, Geraldine T. 1936 - 2019 Charlotte: Passed away peacefully at the age of 83, Friday, August 30, 2019 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Norton, Florence Stern, Barbara Renner; brothers, Henry Faker, William Vanderpool. Gerry is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald; devoted children, Donna Owen, Diane Hummel, James (Shaneela) Hummel; precious grandchildren, Hayley, Tyler, Trevor, Ilyas, Mickey, Jameson; brother, James Faker; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hummel, Gary (Jean) Renner and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Gerry loved life, her family and was so good to everyone she knew. She will be dearly missed. Her family will receive friends Friday, September 6th, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, September 7th, 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
