Irondequoit: Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jane (Coyle); daughters, Lorie (Tim) Sauer, Jody Ranous, Molly (Michael) Fortuna, Meg (Scott) Ives; grandchildren, Ava, Emma & Timmy Sauer, Scotty, Piper & Weston Ives; brother, Leonard (Pam) Ranous; brothers-in-law, Charles (Carol), and Terrence Coyle; 12 nieces and nephews.

Don will be remembered as the owner of Don's Deli for 30 years. He was an avid sports fan (Go Bills/Go 'Cuse), lifetime learner, and self-proclaimed "Best Guest Ever". Don will also be remembered as a devoted husband, father, Papa and uncle. He considered his family his greatest success.

His family will receive friends Sunday, October 6th, 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Monday, October 7th, 10:00 am at Spiritus Christi Church (121 North Fitzhugh St.) for his funeral mass. Interment Private.
