Gary S. Holowka

Penfield: Gary finished his courageous fight with complications from dementia and left us at 76 years old with tremendous sadness. He was predeceased by his parents Steve & Helen. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Maria; sons, Gary Jr. (Barbara), Eric (Jennifer); He adored his granddaughters and grandsons, Isabelle, Natasha, Sophia, Tatiana, Alex and Ethan; sisters, Judy Roth and Nancy (Wayne) Gundry; nephews and niece.

Gary was a consummate jokester. He always brought his friends and family great joy and laughter. He loved bowling, music, golf, fishing and creating adventure out of thin air.

His family will receive friends Sunday, October 27th, 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Monday, October 28th, 10:00am at St. Joseph's Church of Penfield for his funeral mass. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to their favorite cause close to their heart.
